I Might Have a Story For YOU - WITH MATT LEVINSON

Georgia Weir founded the life changing community running program Deadly Runners. She competed in the New York, Gold Coast, North Coast and Chicago marathons. But she wasn’t always a runner, in fact she came to the sport as an absolute last resort, having lived through some incredibly tough times - the perfect prep for the high highs of running at the highest level, and coaching First Nations running talent.

LET'S TALK

Deadly Runners is literally changing lives, state of minds and creating healing in our communities all through the power of running. At the helm is Georgia Weir, a mum of four who started running at the end of 2012, determined to do something to help her anxiety and depression. Before she started running, she used to feel agitated and out-of-control. She’d have a cigarette to try to calm down. She’d go out for drinks every Friday and feel worse for it. She was on anti-depressant medication. But her mood swings and feelings of being overwhelmed wouldn’t go away, so she started running.
